Nylon, polyester, or wool?
Nylon for stairs and heavy traffic — it springs back. Polyester for bedrooms on a budget — soft with great stain resistance. Wool blends for the natural feel and longevity. We'll match fiber to the room.
How long does carpet last?
With good padding and vacuuming, 10–15 years in bedrooms and 7–10 on stairs. When it wears, the padding underneath is usually still fine.
Can you carpet just my stairs?
Absolutely — stair runners and full stair carpet are some of our most common jobs, often finished in a single day.
Allergies — is carpet a problem?
Modern low-VOC carpet with regular HEPA vacuuming is fine for most households. For severe sensitivities we usually recommend hard surfaces with washable rugs.
Do you take the old carpet away?
Yes — rip-out, pad removal, tack-strip replacement, and haul-away are included in every quote, not added later.
