Sometimes over existing tile or vinyl if it's sound and flat — but never over carpet, and never where height breaks door clearances. We check deflection and elevation before promising.
How much does heated flooring cost to run?
A typical bath mat draws about as much as a few light bulbs and runs on a timer — most households notice no meaningful change in their electric bill.
Marble vs. porcelain that looks like marble?
Porcelain wins on maintenance: no sealing, no etching from lemon or shampoo. Real marble wins on depth and variation. For busy baths we usually steer toward porcelain.
How long before I can use the room?
Light foot traffic in 24 hours, full use and grout sealing at 72. Showers wait the full cure — we'll set up a temporary routine with you.
