Does it really look like wood?
Modern embossed-in-register texture follows the printed grain, so it looks — and feels — like sawn oak until you're on your knees. Bring home samples and check in daylight; that's the test.
Can it go over my old floor?
Often yes over flat tile or hardwood, with the right prep. We never install over carpet, cushion vinyl, or uneven floors — floating planks telegraph every bump.
Is it safe for basements?
It's the best hard-surface choice for basements: waterproof and dimensionally stable. We still test for moisture and mitigate before installing.
How do I clean it?
Vacuum or damp-mop with a pH-neutral vinyl cleaner. No steam mops, no wax, no beater bars. That's the whole routine.
Will my dog scratch it?
A 20-mil wear layer handles claws far better than site-finished oak. Keep nails trimmed and use felt pads, and it will look new for years.
